Beluga
This is a very special place. My wife took me here for my birthday when we first started dating, and before that I hadn’t even known of its existence. We return this time every year as a family and it’s something we look forward to so much. With the current world situation and troubles, we of course didn’t go this year, which is why I felt it so important to finish this. This was shot at the corner of the Beluga whale exhibit at Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, Connecticut. Watching these amazing creatures is breathtaking. If you have a chance to visit the aquarium, I highly recommend it and the town of Mystic itself. Instantly, after arriving back at the hotel, I came up with the progression and loose melody that is repeated throughout. There isn’t a structure so much as just playing to what I feel looking at the video and thinking of the feeling of being there.
